Memory Match Games · Last updated: March 9, 2026
Overview
Memory Match Games (“the App”) is a family-friendly card matching game developed by Cam Fortin / Product Hacker. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.
Data We Collect
Anonymous gameplay data. When a game is completed, we log the following to our servers to power community statistics:
- Theme selected (e.g. “Winter,” “Fantasy”)
- Number of card pairs played
- Number of players
- Game duration in seconds
- Player scores
- First names entered by players
This data is not linked to your identity. We do not collect device identifiers, Apple IDs, email addresses, or any other personally identifiable information.
Data Stored on Your Device
Player names and local game statistics are stored on your device only (via UserDefaults / localStorage). This data never leaves your device unless a game is completed and logged as described above.
Third-Party Services
The App uses Supabase as its backend for storing anonymous gameplay logs. Supabase processes data in accordance with their own privacy policy. No other third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services are used.
Children's Privacy
The App is designed to be family-friendly and suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The first names entered during gameplay are stored locally on the device and are only included in anonymous gameplay logs — they are not used to identify any individual.
Data Retention & Deletion
Anonymous gameplay logs are retained indefinitely to power community statistics. You can clear all locally stored data by deleting the App from your device. If you would like your gameplay logs removed from our servers, please contact us.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “last updated” date.
